Vence is a hilltop town in the Alpes-Maritimes reached most conveniently from Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE) by car, taxi or regional bus. There is no direct train station, so expect a short bus or taxi leg from the nearest rail hub in Nice or Cagnes-sur-Mer.

By Air

Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE): Nice airport is the nearest major airport to Vence, about 25-35 minutes by car depending on traffic. From Nice you can take a bus or taxi; drive time to Vence is typically 30-45 minutes and taxis cost roughly €50-€90 one-way depending on time and traffic.

Other airports: For lower-cost options you can also look at nearby Marseille or Toulon airports, but these are farther and usually take longer by road.

By Train & Bus

Train: Vence does not have a train station; the nearest major rail station is Cagnes-sur-Mer or Nice-Ville. From Nice or Cagnes you continue by bus or taxi to Vence.
