Stade Louis II is a multi-purpose sports stadium in the Fontvieille district of Monaco, best known as the home ground of AS Monaco Football Club. The current stadium complex opened in the mid-1980s and combines a football bowl with additional sports facilities.

The site hosts club football matches, youth and athletics events, and some concerts and exhibitions. The stadium’s capacity is about 18,500 spectators and it includes covered stands and hospitality areas used during league and European fixtures.

The modern stadium replaced earlier facilities and was developed as part of the Fontvieille expansion of Monaco; it has been the principal sports venue for the principality since opening. Over time the venue has been adapted for commercial and sporting use but remains centered on AS Monaco’s home fixtures.

Located in Fontvieille, the stadium sits on reclaimed land southwest of Monaco-Ville and is a short distance from the port and major hotels. It is accessible by road and public transport links serving the district.

By car Monaco (and the stadium) is about 20 km (≈12 miles) from Nice along the coastal road.

• Buy match tickets or stadium‑tour bookings in advance through AS Monaco's official channels to secure entry and avoid sold‑out events.
