Vale (Samtskhe-Javakheti) is a small border town reached by road from Tbilisi or Batumi; there is no direct rail link. Most travellers use marshrutkas or private cars/transfers via Akhaltsikhe.

By Air

Tbilisi Shota Rustaveli (TBS): The main international airport serving Georgia. From Tbilisi you can reach Vale by car (around 3.5-4.5 hours depending on route) or by taking a marshrutka/minibus toward Akhaltsikhe and then local transport to Vale. Rental cars and private transfers are common for this mountainous route.

Batumi (BUS): Batumi Airport is closer by road in some routings (around 2-3 hours to Vale) and can be a useful arrival point if you prefer a shorter drive; onward travel is by car or regional minibus services.

By Train & Bus
