How to Get to Uulu#
Uulu (Pärnumaa) is most practically reached by coach from Tallinn to Pärnu, then a short local bus or taxi. For flexibility and coastal exploration, renting a car in Pärnu or Tallinn is convenient.
Tallinn Airport (TLL): Estonia’s main international airport (~130-160 km from Uulu, depending on route). From Tallinn take a long-distance bus to Pärnu (Lux Express / GoBus ~1.5-2 hours) and then a short local bus or taxi to Uulu (~15-25 minutes).
Pärnu Airport (EPU): Pärnu is the closest local airfield but has limited scheduled services; most international visitors come via Tallinn and continue by coach or rental car to Uulu.
Train: Elron’s rail network currently does not serve Uulu directly; rail users go to Tallinn or Pärnu (Pärnu currently depended mostly on buses for long-distance links).
Bus: Long-distance coaches (Lux Express, GoBus) run Tallinn-Pärnu frequently; from Pärnu take a local bus or taxi to Uulu (about 10-25 minutes). Local bus services connect small villages along the Pärnu coast and in Pärnumaa; check schedules in advance.

Most visitors reach Uulu by coach to Pärnu followed by a short local bus or taxi. Public transport is straightforward but limited outside peak times; for full flexibility, rent a car in Pärnu or Tallinn.
- Long-distance coach (Lux Express / GoBus) (€5-€15) - Frequent coaches connect Tallinn and Pärnu; they are comfortable and often the fastest public option to reach Pärnumaa. From Pärnu transfer to a local bus or taxi for Uulu.
- Local Pärnu region buses (€1.50-€5) - Local buses link Pärnu with Uulu and nearby coastal villages; schedules vary by season and day of week. Buy tickets on board or via local apps where available.
- Taxi / private transfer (€10-€35) - Taxis are practical for door-to-door transfers from Pärnu or for late arrivals; fares are higher than buses but convenient for luggage or tight schedules.
- Car rental (€25-€70 per day) - Renting a car at Tallinn or Pärnu gives freedom to explore the coast and smaller villages. Roads are generally in good condition; parking in Uulu is straightforward.
- Bicycle (€8-€20 per day (rental)) - The coastal area around Uulu is suitable for cycling in summer; quiet roads and dedicated paths in places make it enjoyable. Be mindful of weather and wind on exposed sections.
