October offers increasingly warm, settled weather with longer days and manageable breezes; early beach days become tempting, especially on the protected Playa Mansa. Spring events and weekenders start to bring the area back to life, so popular spots like La Barra see a rise in visitors. Travellers can enjoy the balance of good weather and lower prices than in peak summer.

Rocha Coast, Nature Reserves & Cabo Polonio

October is a true shoulder-season highlight: warm, sunny days suitable for beach walks and kayaking in calmer estuaries, while artisanal markets begin to operate regularly.
