Tsingy de Namoroka National Park is a protected area in the Boeny region of western Madagascar characterized by sharp limestone karst pinnacles known locally as tsingy. The park preserves unique geological formations and associated endemic flora and fauna.
The area has been designated and managed for conservation to protect its distinctive karst formations and endemic biodiversity; structured visitor access and local guiding have been developed to reduce impact and improve safety.
The park lies in western Madagascar’s Boeny region near the coastal plain, reached via regional roads from larger towns in the northwest part of the island.
