How to Get to Trảng Bàng

Trảng Bàng (Tây Ninh) is a short road trip west of Ho Chi Minh City and is most conveniently reached from Tan Son Nhat Airport by taxi or by bus from HCMC bus stations. Bus services are frequent and inexpensive for local travel.

By Air

Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN): Ho Chi Minh City’s airport is the main international gateway for Trảng Bàng. From SGN you can take a bus or taxi to Trảng Bàng - a taxi takes about 45-70 minutes depending on traffic and costs roughly VND 300,000-600,000; buses and shuttle services from city bus stations are cheaper but slower.

Long Thành / Domestic Options: There are domestic flight options into Ho Chi Minh City only; Long Thành is a new project in development. For now, use SGN as your air arrival then continue by road to Trảng Bàng.

By Train & Bus

Train: The national railway (Reunification Express) runs along the main north-south corridor and stops at Saigon (Sài Gòn) / Biên Hòa and other stations, but Trảng Bàng itself is best reached by road from HCMC rather than by train.

Bus: Buses and private shuttle services run from Mien Tay (Western Bus Station) and other bus terminals in Ho Chi Minh City to Tây Ninh province and Trảng Bàng. Typical fares are around VND 50,000-120,000 and journey times are around 1-2 hours depending on traffic and exact route.
