The Bitexco Financial Tower is a high-rise landmark in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, completed in 2010 and noted for its distinctive curved profile. It functions primarily as a mixed-use office tower with retail and public observation facilities.

Developed by Bitexco Financial Corporation and designed by architect Carlos Zapata, the tower was completed and opened in 2010 as one of Vietnam’s early high-profile skyscrapers. Its distinctive silhouette and observation facilities quickly made it a recognized city landmark.

The tower sits in District 1 in central Ho Chi Minh City, near commercial streets and the Saigon River, and is accessible from major city arteries and public transport routes.

• Height and use: The tower’s structural height is 262.5 metres and it contains office floors, retail and an observation deck used by visitors.
• Design and completion: Designed by architect Carlos Zapata and completed in 2010, the project incorporated a distinctive curving form intended to reference a lotus bud.

• Buy Saigon Skydeck/observation‑deck tickets in advance or online where possible - the deck is small and queueing can be lengthy during peak hours.
• Arrive late afternoon (an hour before sunset) if you want daylight-to-night city views but aim earlier than official sunset if you prefer fewer people; peak sunset times draw the largest crowds.
• If you want a bar experience with panoramic views, reserve a place at the tower's rooftop bar (EON Heli Bar) in advance, as seating and access are limited compared with the public deck.
