Tlapa de Comonfort is a mountainous town in Guerrero best reached by road. There are no regular passenger trains; most visitors arrive by long-distance bus from regional hubs such as Acapulco, Chilpancingo or Oaxaca.

By Air

Acapulco International Airport (ACA): Acapulco is one of the nearer airports serving Guerrero with regular domestic flights. From Acapulco, travellers typically continue by long-distance bus or private transport to Tlapa; bus journeys take several hours and schedules vary by operator.

Iguala / Chilpancingo (regional airports): There are small regional airfields in Guerrero but scheduled services are limited. For most visitors, arriving by bus from larger airports (Acapulco or Mexico City) is the practical option.

By Train & Bus
