Ticho House

Ticho House is a historic 19th-century residence in Jerusalem that now operates as a house museum and cultural venue, associated with the physician Dr. Abraham Ticho and his wife Anna Ticho. The house preserves period rooms and displays artworks, especially drawings by Anna Ticho, alongside historical archives.

The building comprises a domestic layout with exhibition rooms and a small public programme that includes changing displays and cultural events; a café is located on site. It is maintained as both an art venue and a preserved domestic interior reflecting the couple’s life in Jerusalem.

The house was acquired and inhabited by the Tichos in the early 20th century and later donated to cultural authorities for preservation and public access. Since becoming a museum it has been used to present aspects of Jerusalem’s cultural and social history through the lens of the Tichos’ collections.

Ticho House stands near central Jerusalem transport routes, on the western side of the city’s historic core, within walking distance of other museums and cultural institutions.
