Thyatira was an ancient city in western Anatolia, located in what is now Manisa Province in Turkey, notable as one of the communities mentioned in early Christian texts.

The city developed in Hellenistic times and flourished under Roman rule; it continued as a Christian community into the Byzantine period and is named in the Book of Revelation as a distinct church. Over centuries the urban center shifted and most ancient fabric survives as scattered ruins and reused material in later structures.
