How to Get to Tét
Tét is a small town best accessed via Győr - arrive by train or coach to Győr then transfer by regional bus or taxi. Intercity rail to Győr is straightforward from Budapest or Vienna.
Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (BUD): Budapest is the closest major international airport with frequent flights. From BUD take a train or bus to Budapest Keleti/Nyugati stations (30-45 min) then an intercity train to Győr (about 1.5 hours, tickets ~2,000-4,000 HUF / €5.5-11). From Győr you can reach Tét by regional bus or taxi (see below).
Vienna International Airport (VIE): Vienna is also an option for some travellers (especially from western Europe); trains from Vienna to Győr take about 1.5 hours and are frequent, then change for a regional link to Tét.
