Telok Blangah Hill Park is an urban hill park in southern Singapore that forms the central section of the Southern Ridges linear green corridor. It combines forested slopes, walking paths and lookout points on a low coastal hill near the HarbourFront area.

The park is linked to neighbouring Mount Faber by the distinctive Henderson Waves footbridge and to other southern parks via the Southern Ridges trail, a continuous pedestrian route of about 10 kilometres. Key attractions include elevated walkways through mature trees, hilltop viewpoints with harbour views and landscaped rest areas suitable for short walks and nature observation.

Development of the park and its connective walkways was carried out as part of Singapore’s urban park planning to enhance green links between southern hill parks. Management and maintenance fall under the national parks authority, which integrates the park with adjacent residential and recreational areas.

Geographically the park sits on a coastal hill in the Bukit/Telok Blangah area, close to the HarbourFront precinct and Keppel Harbour in southern Singapore. It is readily reached from the city by public transport and forms a green buffer above the southern shoreline.

  • Ridge link: Forms a continuous green link with Mount Faber and Kent Ridge as part of the Southern Ridges pedestrian network of roughly 10 kilometres.
  • Views and access: Provides views over Keppel Harbour and the southern shoreline of Singapore; the park is within the HarbourFront/Telok Blangah residential area and accessible from the city by transit.

What to See #

  • Henderson Waves: A sinuous timber-and-steel pedestrian bridge 274 metres long that links the park to Mount Faber and is noted for its undulating rib-like form and viewpoints.
  • Southern Ridges connection: Part of the Southern Ridges green corridor - a roughly 10 kilometre sequence of parks and elevated walkways that connects Telok Blangah Hill Park with Mount Faber and Kent Ridge Park.
  • Hilltop lookout: A small hilltop area with forested walking paths and lookout points providing views over Keppel Harbour, the southern coastline and nearby port facilities.
