Haw Par Villa is a roadside cultural park in Singapore created by Aw Boon Haw and opened in 1937, known for its large-scale statuary and dioramas depicting Chinese mythology, folklore and moral stories. The park was designed as a public educational attraction and features brightly painted statues and scenes.

Its most famous displays include tableaux on the Ten Courts of Hell and numerous scenes drawn from Chinese legends and Confucian morality tales. The site functions as a mix of cultural heritage attraction and public park and is managed with free public access to most outdoor areas.

Haw Par Villa is located along Pasir Panjang Road in western Singapore, within the Pasir Panjang and Alexandra area, and is reachable by bus and nearby MRT stations depending on route.

• Foundation date and founder: The park was opened in 1937 by the Aw family and contains extensive sculptural tableaux depicting scenes from Chinese folklore and moral teachings.
• Ten Courts of Hell: The dioramas illustrating the Ten Courts of Hell are among the most visited and sometimes controversial displays due to their graphic depictions of traditional Buddhist and Chinese afterlife narratives.

Haw Par Villa is served by Haw Par Villa MRT station on the Circle Line (CC25); the park is immediately adjacent to the station and is about a 3-5 minute walk from the exits. The site sits off Pasir Panjang Road/West Coast Highway and is easily reached by taxi from the city (roughly a 15-25 minute drive from the CBD depending on traffic).

• Visit on weekday mornings when the park is quiet to take in the park's many statues and dioramas without tour groups; afternoons and public-holiday weekends are busiest for local families.
• Use Haw Par Villa MRT station on the Circle Line for the shortest walk to the park entrance and note that general admission to the outdoor park is free.
• Don't skip the Ten Courts of Hell dioramas and the park's extensive interpretive plaques - these are the site's main attractions but many visitors only photograph the tiger statues at the gate.
