Universal Studios Singapore is a commercial theme park on Sentosa Island that opened in March 2010 as part of Resorts World Sentosa. The park is organised into multiple film- and franchise-themed zones and hosts rides, live shows and themed restaurants.
Organised by seven themed zones - Hollywood, New York, Sci‑Fi City, Ancient Egypt, The Lost World, Far Far Away and Madagascar - each featuring signature attractions and staged entertainment. The park is designed for family audiences with a mixture of thrill rides, motion-based dark rides and character shows.
The park lies on the eastern side of Sentosa Island within the integrated Resorts World Sentosa development and is reached from mainland Singapore by road, Sentosa Express or pedestrian linkways through VivoCity shopping mall.
