Teatro Malibran is a historic theatre on the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy, originally constructed in the late 17th century and later renamed in honor of the 19th-century singer Maria Malibran. It is located in the San Marco/Rialto area and remains a venue for chamber opera, concerts and cultural events.

The interior is relatively intimate compared with larger opera houses and the theatre is valued for its historic architecture and programme of small-scale performances. Its position close to the central canal makes it accessible from the Rialto and other central Venice locations.

The theatre’s origins date from the late 1600s, and it has undergone changes of ownership, refurbishment and stage use over subsequent centuries while retaining a role in Venice’s performing-arts scene.

Teatro Malibran is in central Venice near the Rialto and San Marco. It is reachable on foot from Venice Santa Lucia station by crossing the Rialto bridge and walking toward Campo San Giovanni Novo, or by vaporetto lines that stop nearby.
