How to Get to Tchamba
Tchamba is normally reached overland from Lomé (LFW) by bus or shared taxi. There are no direct scheduled commercial flights to Tchamba, so plan for a multi‑hour road transfer.
Lomé-Tokoin Gnassingbé Eyadéma International Airport (LFW): Tchamba is in central Togo and most visitors fly into Lomé (LFW) before travelling overland. The road journey from Lomé to Tchamba takes several hours (≈5-7 hr) by intercity bus or private car.
Regional airports (Sokodé / Niamtougou): There are small regional airfields in northern/central Togo with limited or no scheduled commercial services; overland travel from Lomé remains the usual choice for Tchamba.
Train: Togo does not have a nationwide passenger rail network covering Tchamba; rail is not a reliable travel option for this route.
