Švenčionys is most conveniently reached from Vilnius by regional bus or minibus. There's no direct passenger rail service, so road connections are the practical option.
Vilnius International Airport (VNO): The primary international airport for Švenčionys (about 70-90 km by road). From Vilnius you can reach Švenčionys by regional bus or marshrutka from the Vilnius bus station; travel time is roughly 1.5-2 hours and fares are typically a few euros.
Kaunas / Riga: Kaunas and Riga are alternative international airports but are farther away and require longer overland transfers to Švenčionys.
Train: There is no direct rail service to Švenčionys; Lithuania’s rail network does not serve every regional town.
