How to Get to Svaneke
Svaneke is on Bornholm island (east coast). You arrive either by flight to Bornholm Airport (Rønne) or by ferry from the Swedish/Denmark mainland, then continue on Bornholm's local buses or by car/taxi to Svaneke.
Bornholm Airport (RNN / Rønne): The island’s airport near Rønne handles domestic flights from Copenhagen (CPH). Flight time is about 35-45 minutes; from Rønne to Svaneke the drive is roughly 30-40 minutes and buses service the route.
Copenhagen Airport (CPH): International travellers normally fly into Copenhagen and then travel to Bornholm by connecting domestic flight to RNN or by ferry (see below). Ferries depart from Ystad (Sweden) and Køge/Śkærup (Denmark) seasonally.
Train: There are no mainland trains to Bornholm; reach Ystad (Sweden) or Køge via Copenhagen by DSB and SJ services, then take the ferry to Rønne/Ballen on Bornholm. From Rønne or the ferry port Ballen, local buses run to Svaneke (region buses operated under BAT/Bornholmstrafikken).
