How to Get to Surami
Surami is well connected to Tbilisi by regional rail and frequent marshrutkas from Tbilisi's Didube bus station. Trains are comfortable and scenic, while marshrutkas offer frequent, direct daytime service.
Tbilisi International Airport (TBS): Tbilisi is the main airport for visitors to Surami. From TBS take a taxi or bus into Tbilisi city centre and then a direct marshrutka (minibus) or regional bus toward Surami, or take the slower but scenic regional train. Total travel time by road from Tbilisi to Surami is typically around 2-2.5 hours depending on traffic.
Kutaisi Airport (KUT): Kutaisi is an alternative gateway on the western side of Georgia; getting to Surami from Kutaisi is possible by car or a combination of train and marshrutka but usually involves longer travel times than from Tbilisi.
