Suvarnabhumi (BKK) / Don Mueang (DMK), Bangkok: Sung Noen (Nakhon Ratchasima province) is usually reached from Bangkok by road; the nearest major airports are Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang. From Bangkok you can take an intercity train or bus to Nakhon Ratchasima and then a local taxi or songthaew to Sung Noen - total travel time by train/bus is typically 3-4 hours.
Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat) region: There are regional bus and train services that serve the province directly; flying into Bangkok then continuing overland remains the common route for international visitors.
Train: Sung Noen has a railway station on Thailand’s Northeastern Line (state railway), so you can reach Sung Noen by intercity train from Bangkok (Hua Lamphong / Bang Sue Grand Station) - journey times vary but are commonly 3-4 hours. Trains are comfortable for day or overnight travel.
