How to Get to Dan Khun Thot
Dan Khun Thot is reached most easily from Bangkok by bus or by train to Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat) followed by a local shuttle/minivan. There are no major commercial flights directly to the town; plan a final land transfer from Korat.
Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK): From Bangkok Suvarnabhumi you can reach Nakhon Ratchasima province by long-distance bus or by combining a train/bus. Express buses depart from Bangkok’s Northern/Bangkapi/Or Tor Kor bus terminals toward Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat); journey times to Korat are typically 3-4 hours and fares vary by operator and class (roughly 200-400 THB). From Korat you need a local minivan or bus to Dan Khun Thot (additional 30-60 minutes).
Don Mueang Airport (DMK): Low-cost carriers land at Don Mueang; from there take a taxi or airport bus into central Bangkok and then an intercity bus to Nakhon Ratchasima as above.
