Stoltenhoff Island is a small, uninhabited islet in the Nightingale Islands group of Tristan da Cunha in the South Atlantic. It is one of the minor rocky islands forming the Nightingale subgroup.
The island provides steep cliffs and rocky shorelines that support seabird colonies and marine wildlife; there are no visitor facilities or infrastructure. Landings are infrequent and normally done only from private boats by experienced crews.
Geologically the island is volcanic and, like the other Nightingale Islands, has remained uninhabited in historic times and primarily functions as wildlife habitat. There is no recorded permanent human settlement.
Stoltenhoff Island lies in the South Atlantic about the same island group as Nightingale and Middle Islands, roughly tens of kilometres south of the main Tristan da Cunha island. The surrounding waters are remote and exposed.
