St. John's Archcathedral, Warsaw Church

St. John’s Archcathedral is a historic Gothic church in Warsaw’s Old Town that serves as a principal cathedral for the city and an important site in Polish religious and national history. • Look for the heavily restored Gothic vaults and the marks of wartime damage in the nave; the restoration of the 1950s and 1980s patched and polished but did not erase scars.
• Avoid the very center of the main square at noon when tour groups cluster; take the quieter side-aisles for better details and plaques.
