Seoul & Northwest (Gyeonggi, Incheon, Yellow Sea coast)

Gangwon Province & the Taebaek Mountains (Sokcho, Pyeongchang, Seoraksan)
April brings early spring warmth to the east coast, and lower valleys show green shoots while alpine slopes keep pockets of snow. Sokcho opens up for seafood markets and the cable car to Seoraksan’s mid-station runs in more stable weather; wildflower season begins lower down.
