The Shah Cheragh shrine is a major Shiʿi funerary and pilgrimage complex in the city of Shiraz, Fars province, Iran, known for its richly decorated interior. The name means ‘King of the Light’ and the site attracts both pilgrims and visitors for its mirror-mosaic work.

The site developed around the tomb of figures revered locally as martyrs; the mausoleum and associated structures were expanded and decorated over centuries, receiving major embellishments in later Islamic periods. The present appearance reflects successive phases of construction and decorative campaigns.
