Sefton Park is a large Victorian public park in Liverpool created in the late 19th century and laid out as a formal urban park with extensive tree planting, drives and open lawns. It is noted for its ornamental glasshouse and large recreational spaces used by the city.

• Avoid the southern edge near the busy road if seeking quiet; head to the lake and tree-lined paths instead.
