About Sahyun Castle

Sahyun Castle (sometimes called Qal’at Salah al-Din) is a large medieval fortress near the Syrian coast in Latakia Governorate. The complex has visible Crusader-era masonry and later Ayyubid alterations concentrated on a high rocky spur.
