Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi (NBO): Nairobi is the main international gateway for reaching Rumuruti and Laikipia County. From Nairobi the road trip to Rumuruti is typically around 3-4 hours by private car or coach depending on traffic and exact route.

Local airstrips: There are small airstrips across Laikipia used by charter flights and safari operators; these can be arranged for remote lodges but are not regular scheduled commercial services to Rumuruti town itself.

By Train & Bus

Train: Kenya Railways does not offer a regular passenger rail service to Rumuruti.
