Ristiina is best reached via Mikkeli, the nearest town with a train station and regional bus links. International travellers usually fly into Helsinki-Vantaa (HEL) or Kuopio (KUO) and continue to Mikkeli by train or coach, then take a short regional bus or taxi to Ristiina.
