How to Get to Remada
Remada is a remote southern Tunisian town reached overland. There are no regular commercial flights into Remada; visitors typically arrive at larger regional airports (Djerba, Gabès or Tunis) and continue by bus, louage or private transfer.
Gabès-Matmata International / Djerba-Zarzis / Tataouine small fields: Remada is a remote town in southern Tunisia; there are no major commercial airports in Remada itself. The closest airports with scheduled services are likely Djerba-Zarzis (DJE) or Gabès (GAE) and onwards by road; Tataouine also has limited airfields. From any of these airports you must continue by road (taxi or private transfer) to reach Remada.
Note: Flight options to remote southern Tunisia are limited; many visitors fly into Tunis (TUN) or Djerba (DJE) then transfer overland.
Train: Tunisia’s national rail network does not extend to many southern desert towns including Remada; rail is not a practical option for Remada.
Bus: Long-distance buses and louages (shared taxis) operate across southern Tunisia; travel to Remada requires an overland bus or louage from larger regional hubs such as Tataouine or Gabès. Journey times depend heavily on departure point and road conditions.
