How to Get to Dehiba
Dehiba is a remote town in Tunisia's far south near the Libyan border and is reached almost entirely by road from regional hubs. Nearest practical air gateways are Djerba (DJE) or Tunis (TUN) followed by extended road travel into Tataouine Governorate.
Djerba-Zarzis International Airport (DJE): Djerba is the closest major airport with international connections; reaching Dehiba from Djerba requires a long overland drive (several hours) across southern Tunisia.
Tunis-Carthage Airport (TUN): Tunis is the main international gateway; from Tunis you can travel by domestic flight or long-distance road transport toward Tataouine Governorate, followed by local road travel to Dehiba. Domestic and overland travel in southern Tunisia can be time-consuming, so plan schedules carefully.
Train: Tunisia’s national rail network does not extend into the most southern desert border areas; rail is not a practical way to reach Dehiba.
Bus / Road: Long-distance buses and hired cars are the primary public transport for southern Tunisia.
