How to Get to Qixia Mountain #
From downtown Nanjing, take Metro Line 2 to Qixia Gate Station (if open) or use local buses that serve the Qixia scenic area. Taxis from central Nanjing take roughly 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. There are several parking areas near the temple complex and trailheads.
Tips for Visiting Qixia Mountain #
- If visiting in autumn, head for late October when the maples redden
- Start at Qixia Temple and walk north along the hillside for quieter viewpoints
- Avoid weekends if possible - Nanjing residents flock here during golden-week holidays

Peak season is autumn for foliage; spring is a pleasant alternative. Weekdays are much quieter than weekends.
