The Pyramid of Senusret III is a Middle Kingdom royal pyramid built for Pharaoh Senusret III of the Twelfth Dynasty.
Like other Middle Kingdom pyramids, it formed part of a larger mortuary complex and today survives mainly as a ruined superstructure with archaeological remains of substructures and associated buildings.
The pyramid was constructed in the 19th-18th centuries BC and reflects the royal funerary architecture of the Twelfth Dynasty.
It is located at Dahshur on the west bank of the Nile, within the broader pyramid field of the Memphite necropolis south of modern Cairo.
