The White Pyramid is reached from the Dahshur area of the Giza Governorate, about 40-50 km south of central Cairo. The usual approach is by car or tour from Cairo; many tour operators combine Dahshur with Saqqara and Memphis. Road signage is sparse - use a GPS and local directions from Dahshur village.

Tips for Visiting White Pyramid#

Combine a visit with other Dahshur and Memphis Plateau sites - the Red and Bent Pyramids are nearby and less crowded.
Wear a wide‑brimmed hat and bring a sun shade; the site has little shade and the reflective limestone can be brutal in midday sun.
