Prospect Park in Brooklyn is served by multiple subway stations: Grand Army Plaza (2, 3) on the northeast corner, Prospect Park station (B, Q) on the west side, and Parkside Avenue (Q) / Church Avenue (B, Q) nearby. Most park entrances are a short walk (typically 2-10 minutes) from these stops.

By car use Flatbush Avenue, Ocean Avenue or Prospect Park West to reach the various entrances; street parking and parking regulations vary by neighborhood.

• Use the Grand Army Plaza/Flatbush Avenue entrances to access the park's Long Meadow, Brooklyn Museum and Botanical Garden quickly; early mornings on weekdays are noticeably quieter than weekend afternoons.
• Head into the Ravine and Lullwater areas if you want a woodland, low‑traffic experience-many visitors stick to the Long Meadow and Nethermead, so the Ravine tends to be overlooked.
• Avoid the busiest times on the main park loop (weekend late mornings/afternoons) by entering from southern or eastern gates and exploring deeper paths or visiting on weekdays.
