The airport is about 6-10 km from Preveza town; taxis typically take 10-20 minutes and cost around €10-€20, while local shuttle buses and transfers run to Preveza and Lefkada (short ride, fares a few euros).

Kefalonia / Aktion alternatives: On some itineraries travellers use Aktion for domestic/charter flights or fly into Ioannina (IOA) or Aktion from seasonal routes, but these options usually require additional road transfers and are less convenient than PVK for Preveza.

Bus: KTEL Prevezas operates regular buses connecting Preveza with regional centres (Lefkada, Igoumenitsa, Ioannina) and long-distance routes to Athens. Local airport transfers from PVK typically take 15-20 minutes; intercity buses to Athens take about 5.5-7 hours with fares commonly in the €20-€35 range depending on service.
