How to Get to Portëz
Portëz is a locality in Fier County, Albania. Most visitors reach the area by road from Tirana or from the nearby city of Fier; buses and private cars are the standard options.
Tirana International Airport (TIA): Tirana is the main international option for reaching Fier County. From Tirana you can travel by intercity bus or car toward Fier and surrounding towns such as Portëz.
Vlora (regional) / Corfu (CFU) (seasonal): Seasonal flights or ferries to nearby ports (Vlora or Corfu) can be used depending on routing, but Tirana remains the principal gateway for most international travellers.
Train: Albania’s passenger rail services are limited and not a reliable option for travel to Portëz.
Bus: The main land link is via intercity buses from Tirana or other regional hubs to Fier; local buses or taxis connect from Fier to Portëz. Bus journeys from Tirana→Fier typically take 2-3 hours and are economical.
