Parque El Virrey Park

Parque El Virrey is an urban park and ecological corridor in Bogotá, Colombia, located in the Chapinero and localities of the city. It serves as a green spine through a busy urban area.

The park features paved and unpaved paths used for walking, running and cycling, small green plazas and tree-lined stretches that act as habitat for urban birds. It is a common local route for commuters and recreational users.

Created as part of Bogotá’s efforts to intersperse green space within the urban grid, the park has been managed as a municipal greenway to improve urban ecology and provide recreation.

Parque El Virrey runs within the central-northern area of Bogotá and connects with streets and neighborhoods in the Chapinero zone, making it accessible from nearby commercial and residential districts.
