How to Get to Páros#
Paros is most commonly reached by plane from Athens or by ferry from Piraeus/Rafina; Parikia is the main port and arrival point. Ferries are frequent in summer and provide the most luggage-friendly option, while short domestic flights save time.
Paros National Airport (PAS): Paros has a small airport with frequent domestic flights from Athens (ATH) and seasonal services from other islands. The airport is a short drive from Parikia (the main port town), about 10 minutes; taxis and local buses meet many arrivals - expect taxi fares in the low tens of euros.
Athens Eleftherios Venizelos (ATH): Many visitors fly to Athens and take a ferry from Piraeus to Paros. Flights to Paros from Athens take ~40-50 minutes; ferry crossings vary by ferry type (fast vs conventional) and are a flexible option for luggage and vehicles.
Train: There is no train service to Paros - island travel is by sea or air.
Ferry: Ferries from Piraeus (Athens) and Rafina serve Paros (port: Parikia). Fast ferries (high-speed) take about 3-4 hours from Piraeus; conventional ferries take roughly 4-5 hours. How to Get Around Páros#

- Ferry (Piraeus ↔ Parikia) (€20-€50+) - Blue Star Ferries and several high-speed operators run multiple daily sailings from Piraeus and Rafina to Paros (Parikia). Ferries are the backbone of island access and are reliable in summer; book in advance during peak season.
- Domestic flight (€40-€120+) - Flights between Athens (ATH) and Paros (PAS) are short (about 40-50 minutes) and useful for saving time. Airlines include Olympic Air and Sky Express; prices vary by season and how far in advance you book.
