Parc Borély is about 4 km southeast of Marseille’s Vieux‑Port. From the city center take tramway T2 (toward Arenc Le Silo) and get off at Rond‑Point du Prado - Les Docks, then walk southeast along Avenue du Prado (about 10-15 minutes). Several city buses (lines 19, 21) stop near the park; there is limited on‑street parking along the avenue.

• Enter from the Avenue du Prado side to avoid the traffic noise and find shaded paths immediately.
• Visit the Château Borély (currently a decorative arts museum) first; the lawns in front offer the best view of the lake and century‑old plane trees.
• Bring a picnic and sit near the Mediterranean palm collection-those palms are salt‑kissed and wind‑stunted in a way only Marseille palms can be.
