Ourinhos is best reached by long‑distance coach from São Paulo or Campinas; it does not have regular passenger rail connections and no major commercial airport of its own. The city's bus terminal handles most arrivals and departures.
São Paulo-Guarulhos (GRU): The largest international gateway for the region. From GRU you can take a bus or transfer to São Paulo’s main intercity terminals (Tietê or Barra Funda) and catch a coach to Ourinhos - coach journey from São Paulo typically takes 4-5 hours and costs around R$60-R$120. A direct private transfer is possible but costly (several hundred reais).
Viracopos/Campinas (VCP): Viracopos is another practical option for domestic connections. From Viracopos you’ll usually transfer to the Campinas bus terminal and then a long‑distance coach to Ourinhos, travel time typically 4-5 hours with fares in the R$60-R$120 range.
Train: There is no regular intercity passenger rail service to Ourinhos; freight rails serve the region.
