How to Get to Oia, Greece

Oia is a village on Santorini (Thira) island best reached by flying to Santorini (JTR) or by ferry to Athinios port from Piraeus. On-island transfers use the KTEL bus network, taxis, or rental vehicles for the short winding roads to Oia.

Athens Eleftherios Venizelos (ATH): Many visitors arrive to Athens then take a flight or ferry to Santorini. Flights ATH→JTR are ~45 min; ferries from Piraeus/ Rafina to Athinios (Santorini) run daily in season - high-speed ferries take ~4-5 hr (€40-120) and conventional services ~5-8 hr (€25-60), depending on type and season.
