How to Get to Nabarūh
Nabarūh (Nabaruh) in Dakahlia is reached most practically via Cairo International Airport (CAI) with onward travel by rail or microbus. Regional rail to Mansoura/nearby stations and local microbuses connect the smaller towns.
Cairo International Airport (CAI): CAI is the primary international gateway for Dakahlia Governorate. From CAI you can continue to the Dakahlia region by taxi (~200-400 EGP, 2-3 hours depending on destination) or transfer into Cairo’s rail/bus network and travel onward by train or microbus.
Borg El Arab Airport (HBE): For northern Dakahlia destinations closer to the Mediterranean, some travelers fly into Borg El Arab (Alexandria) and then travel overland by car or bus; this usually involves a longer road transfer than coming via CAI.
Train: Egypt National Railways operates services from Cairo (Ramses Station) toward Mansoura and other Dakahlia stations. Trains to Mansoura and nearby stops take around 2-3 hours from Cairo; fares range from a few EGP to a few dozen EGP depending on class.
