Mount Singgalang is a volcanic peak in West Sumatra, Indonesia, located within the Barisan mountain range. It is closely associated with a nearby volcanic cone, forming a prominent pair in the local landscape.

Hikers and photographers go for the ridge walks and wide panoramic views over surrounding valleys and agricultural terraces. The mountain rises distinctly above nearby towns and is often visited together with the neighbouring cone for day hikes and short multi-day treks.

Geologically it is a stratovolcano that is part of the Bukittinggi-Solok volcanic area; its form reflects repeated volcanic activity typical of the Barisan range. Local maps and guides treat it together with its neighbouring cone when describing routes and hazards.

The peak sits in West Sumatra on the island of Sumatra. The closest regional centers are towns in the Solok-Bukittinggi area; access is generally from roads that run through the valleys to the mountain’s trailheads.
