Mount Chenoua is a coastal mountain in Tipaza Province in northern Algeria, rising to about 905 metres and forming a prominent peninsula into the Mediterranean. The massif is a notable geographic feature of the Tipaza coastline.
The slopes host small villages and roads that provide access to viewpoints; the mountain offers panoramic views across the bay toward the archaeological sites and the sea. It is also associated with local Berber-speaking communities and coastal settlements.
The mountain sits on Algeria’s Mediterranean coast in Tipaza Province, overlooking the bay and coastal plain west of Algiers.

How to Get to Mount Chenoua #
Mount Chenoua overlooks the Mediterranean near Tipaza/Cherchell in Tipaza Province. The usual access is by car on the coastal roads west from Algiers toward Tipaza and Cherchell, then local roads up to the village/parking areas on the mountain; from Algiers the drive along the coast is about an hour to 90 minutes depending on traffic. Once parked, short walks or local paths lead to viewpoints on the hill.
