How to Get to Chrea National Park
From Blida city (roughly 50 km south of Algiers), drive up the N1 toward Tipaza then take local roads into the Chréa massif; travel time is about 45-75 minutes depending on traffic and road conditions. There is limited public transport - private cars or organized tours from Blida/Algiers are the most practical options. Mountain roads can be steep and narrow; winter chains may be required.

- Hire a local guide to reach higher cedar trails and to learn safe viewing practices for the endangered Barbary macaque.
