Montacute House is an Elizabethan country house in Montacute, Somerset, England, built in the late 16th century for the Phelips family. It is noted for its well-preserved Elizabethan architecture and period interiors.

The interior includes formal reception rooms, a long gallery used for portraits and display, and original decorative details typical of late Tudor domestic design. The house sits above formal terraced gardens laid out to match the south-facing facade; guided tours focus on architecture, furniture, and family collections.

Construction was commissioned by Sir Edward Phelips in the late 1500s and completed around the turn of the 17th century. The house remained a family seat for generations and is now in the care of the National Trust.
