Miraflores sits on dramatic cliffs above the Pacific with manicured malecón (cliffside promenades), public parks and sweeping sunset viewpoints. The district’s heart is around Av. Larco and Parque Kennedy, where cafés, boutiques and restaurants spill onto the pavements.

Surquillo borders Miraflores to the east and is more local and market-focused, great for produce markets and a less polished, authentic feel. The area mixes tourist staples such as Larcomar and Huaca Pucllana with busy neighbourhood streets, so days are for sightseeing and shopping while evenings bring lively bars and restaurants.
