Miagao Church, formally the Church of Santo Tomas de Villanueva, is an 18th-century stone parish church in Miagao municipality, Iloilo province, on Panay Island in the Philippines. It is one of the Baroque Churches of the Philippines inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The church is notable for its fortress-like massing and an elaborately carved three-tiered Baroque facade flanked by twin bell towers. The front relief includes a large figure of St. Christopher and plant motifs carved into volcanic tuff, and the complex includes a convent/fortification attached to the church.
Construction was carried out under Augustinian friars in the late 18th century; the building served both as a parish church and as a refuge against pirate raids. Over time the complex retained its defensive features while functioning continuously as the town church.
The church stands in the town center of Miagao in Iloilo province on Panay Island, surrounded by the municipal plaza and civic buildings.
- UNESCO status: Inscribed in 1993 as part of the Baroque Churches of the Philippines UNESCO World Heritage serial listing.
